Project No. J05-LVPA-K-04-0028 “Development of a Model for Infertility Treatment Using Stem Cell Technology”
UAB “Nanodiagnostika” is a Lithuanian company with a team of professional scientists. During the implementation of the planned R&D activities, based on their existing knowledge and experience, they developed a new technology that can be applied in the field of regenerative medicine and contribute to more effective treatment of gynecological and infertility-related diseases.
The goal of the project is to develop a technology that improves endometrial functionality. This is crucial for creating new cell therapy possibilities.
During the project, an advanced cell technology is being developed, and new cell-based therapeutic options for infertility treatment are being explored. The new technology will allow for long-term cell storage and further manipulation to create personalized solutions. As infertility is becoming an increasingly relevant issue, our technology could contribute to improving the demographic situation both in Lithuania and globally. The technology developed during the project would also support the creation of a new biopreparations market, enabling the expansion of the health and biopharmaceutical sectors and the emergence of high-potential businesses.
Project duration: 24 months
Developed product: a new cell technology designed to improve the properties and functionality of the endometrium, which could be used as an effective tool in infertility treatment.
Target clients of the developed technology – public and private clinics that would use the product (technology) to contribute to infertility treatment.
The project is funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
